Waters and ‘For Britain’

Article written by RH member The Wanderer

It sickens me beyond belief, the way British Politics is going. Our Government is trying to screw us over, getting a deal that only benefits themselves. We have a spineless PM, who can’t get even through a speech without needing a cough drop – and who is losing the ear of her Government and doomed to failure.

But, that is not what really sickens me about British Politics. What really sickens me is the newly established political party ‘For Britain’ founded by failed UKIP party leader candidate Anne Marie Davies Waters – born in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

The failed leader of UKIP headed for the life boat when she was denied the role of Ship Captain. Which just goes to show what a sore loser she is and how little she actually believed in the party she wanted to represent. She stormed off like a child having a tantrum in the middle of a supermarket.

Waters claims to be speaking up for Britain, but I can assure you all reading this on the Resisting Hate website – Waters does not, and never will speak for me. I do not need someone with the appearance of Hitler in drag speaking for me.

The followers of Ms Waters are naive racist thugs who go around telling anybody who doesn’t share Waters political views to “leave the country.” I myself have been told by her objectionable followers to leave the country on several occasions. I have been called insulting names and told to “wander off.” This illustrates the point I am making. ‘For Britain’ members may claim they are not hateful and that they speak the truth but they are quick to abuse others with a different world view.

I would love to see ‘For Britain’ in the boardroom flogging the dead horse of their Islamophobic hatred to a group of no-nonsense people like myself. I do not believe in sugar coating anything. I will say exactly how it is, I don’t hold back. And I certainly won’t hold back in speaking out against For Britain supporters.

Today I got into a rather heated argument with the ‘For Britain’ leader on Twitter. And it highlighted to me just how single minded and cold she is. Repeatedly she hounded me asking the same questions over and over again about Muslims. But I shot back every time confirming ISIS were not Muslims as I would understand the term and that she was mixing up extremist ISIS doctrine with the peaceable beliefs of Islam.  Four times she asked me about FGM. She cannot separate the faith of Islam from acts like FGM which are illegal in the UK. Her ignorance is not helped by biased Media reporting from hate rags like the Daily Mail.

Waters claims to be a politician. Yet she appears to get all her news and views from the bigoted and biased Daily Fail. And she has the nerve to claim I am the liar! She openly called me a liar in addition to claiming was defending child marriage. Which has resulted in her followers harassing me and labelling me a paedophile. This is the sickening mentality of an evil loathsome Islamophobic scumbag. Making very serious slanderous accusations against someone who doesn’t share her views on Islam. She was losing the argument, she knew it and so she resorted to such disgusting and sickening accusations.

She stopped replying when I shot back at her hateful nonsense and disgusting attitude saying to her:

Typical righty, can’t handle being wrong. I feel sorry for your parents having a scarecrow fascist like you for a daughter.”

Do I regret saying this to her? Hell no! I am proud I said it. It’s strictly my own view of her but it is also the truth about her being a fascist. Her failing to respond to that just shows she’s a party leader running scared. A party leader who knows opposition to her hate views is slowly growing.

Anne is anti-Islam. I have delved into her Party Manifesto where it openly states that she wishes to ABOLISH Human Rights. This, she claims, will put the rights of British people first. Unfortunately her entire manifesto is total nonsense. Abolishing Human Rights will do nothing to secure the dignity and safety of the British people. Anne who regularly claims she is ‘not a Nazi’ is seeking a society where she will be free to imprison those who oppose her and free to launch sickening attacks against Muslims, the hatred of whom is the foundation for her whole ‘For Britain’ project. Like UKIP the ‘For Britain’ party will focus on a pro Brexit agenda. If Britain leaves the EU we will not be protected by European Human Rights. We will lose that protection for ourselves and the people of our country

Like Tommy Robinson, Gerard Batten and Katie Hopkins – Anne Marie Waters is nothing more than a radical far right hate preacher. She radicalises people into believing her propaganda, using her far right Islamophobic contacts like Robinson to help spread her endless hate about Islam. Back in 2015, Anne and Robinson were responsible for establishing a UK based wing of Anti-Islamic organisation PEGIDA UK together. The hate group is still in force today with Waters involved in a management role and Paul Weston from far right group Liberty GB and Tommy Robinson serving as advisors.

Anne is associated with a number of known far right haters including:

Tommy Robinson

Paul Weston

Gerard Batten

Lutz Bachmann

Afek Pirinci

Tatanja Festerling

Similarly to Waters these individuals use the fear of migration as a means to further discontent and Islamophobia.

Waters keeps many of her extremist contacts under wraps for fear of alienating the more centrist ex UKIP members she is hoping to poach from the party she abandoned. But I feel it important to reveal the truth. And I will be happy to continue to confront Anne Marie Waters over her association with the fascist racist far right organisation Pegida UK (known across Mainland Europe for violence and hate) and for the relationships with known haters she is trying to exploit to push her personal agenda against Islam and Muslims into the mainstream.

Solving The Problem Of Terrorism

FacebooktwitterpinteresttumblrFacebooktwitterpinteresttumblr

If you clicked on this article hoping for a pithy Hopkinseqsue one liner that claims to solve the problem of terrorism in a soundbite then I am afraid you are out of luck. Terrorism in the modern age is more complex than a few buzz words can easily express. Activists, newspapers and politicians may try to sell the idea of a simple solution but the truth is that terrorism represents the evil in human nature and there is no simple solution to human nature.

We look for a solution because as human beings we are empathetic enough to want to protect ourselves, our loved ones and our communities from harm. But we also look for a solution because we want to believe we have some power over this growing threat and that there is an answer out there that will help keep us safe.

The difficulty with constructing a defence to terrorism is that the enemy is not a tangible united force. It is a fragmented and dissipated threat that springs up in individuals inspired by extremist ideologies. These ideologies can be a perversion of a legitimate faith (think ISIS and Islam) or they can be a corruption of a political ideology (Think the right wing and White Supremacy). The problem is that the individuals who develop views extreme enough to manifest themselves in evil acts of terrorism are not indicative of the ideologies themselves. Therefore it is too simplistic to blame any ideology for the individuals who commit hate in its name and, as a consequence of this, it is extremely difficult to predict where the next act of terrorism will arise from.

We may not have the answer to stop terrorism yet but what we do have is a lot of failed suggestions as to how it should be dealt with. Nigel Farage was in favour of closing the country’s borders to migrants: “Frankly, if you open your door to uncontrolled immigration from Middle Eastern countries, you are inviting in terrorism.” Yet this solution holds no water as the majority of terrorist attacks on both UK and US soil have been from citizens of those countries and not immigrants. If our terrorists are home grown it would seem futile to try and resolve the problem of terrorism with tighter immigration laws.

Ex EDL leader Tommy Robinson wants to resolve the problem of terrorism by deporting Muslims “Deport all the Muslims who want Sharia law and the problem would be solved overnight.”

But terror is not a Muslim problem, terror is a hate problem. Thomas Mair who savagely murdered MP Jo Cox was not a Muslim, Joseph Christian who fatally stabbed two men on a train in America was not a Muslim. The likes of Robinson want you to believe the problem is as simple as blaming all Muslims because, if you do believe that, you will buy into the simplistic rhetoric of his solution. A solution that will cause divisions in society, break families and communities apart and will do nothing toward making our streets a safer place.

UKIP have offered an equally ludicrous solution to the problem of terrorism. Prior to failing to secure a single seat at the General Election Paul Nuttall, then leader of UKIP was suggesting that we consider internment and tagging. The echoes of fascism ring loudly in the memory as we recall with discomfort who last proposed such extreme measures and the evil that such methods of inhumanity resulted in.

The trouble is that there is no fail safe method for predicting who will commit an act of terrorism. We can rely on police and government intelligence to a certain extent but this is by no means fool proof. Listening to members of communities, friends and families who might be in a better position to identify a radicalised or extremist individual is also of some value but it is inevitable that some people will slip through the net. How many times have we witnessed an act of terrorist atrocity for those close to the terrorist to be genuinely shocked that someone they knew and were close to could be capable of performing such an act of evil? Predicting human behaviour is not an accurate science.

If we cannot predict who will commit an act of terrorism we cannot prevent them from doing it. We cannot imprison people simply because we believe they might commit a crime. The British legal system is founded on the principle of actus reus, namely that without a crime there can be no culpability. The right wing shout about Orwell’s 1984 and the perceived eroded rights of the people but imprisoning people for a crime they may commit… that really is Orwell’s thought crime. It just isn’t a solution.

The only way to eradicate terrorism from our society is to create an environment where hate cannot survive. Terrorism borne from any ideology is based upon the isolation and segregation of people from the mainstream (in the majority of cases young men). By integrating our societies and respecting the rights of others to hold political and religious views that differ to our own we kill off the noxious weeds of hate before they start to flourish. Those seeking to radicalise our young people will find it a good deal harder if, as a country, we are offering our young people a positive future based on respecting them and the contribution we want them to make to our society.

Some of preventing terrorism starts with politics. It starts with giving people the right economic conditions to believe they have a future. But it also starts with our attitudes, ridding ourselves of the preconceptions and prejudices that cause people to become isolated and easily picked off by those who would seek to turn their nihilism into hate.

Those of you call for deportation, vigilante violence and (in the case of some real idiots) genocide are playing right into the hands of ISIS and the like. You are creating the perfect conditions for hate. You bay for blood and howl at the moon for a solution to terrorism without realising that not only have you nothing to offer to make our country a safer place, you are actually part of the problem.

David Coburn MEP

FacebooktwitterpinteresttumblrFacebooktwitterpinteresttumblr

David Coburn is a member of the far right political party UKIP. He holds the post UKIP Leader of Scotland and is an elected MEP.

Coburn has a chequered past in politics with little credibility for his xenophobic and bigoted views. Nicola Sturgeon commented after the Scottish leaders debate in 2015 “I think the only depressing thing tonight is the narrow-minded xenophobic attitude of David Coburn. It’s absolutely utterly disgusting. This is the guy who compared one of my colleagues to a convicted terrorist simply because he’s a Muslim.” She went on to say “He [Coburn] is a disgrace.”

During the same period Coburn was told by Jim Murphy, the head of Scottish Labour to “Stop demonising people.”

Coburn hit the headlines again in 2016 for referring to a selection of UKIP party members as “Total Tossers“.

Coburn is perhaps best known for likening Scottish National Party Justice secretary Humza Yousaf to notorious hate preacher Abu Hanza. This was allegedly a joke and referred to by Nigel Farage (then leader of UKIP) as a joke in poor taste but the humour gives a clear indication of Mr Coburn’s limited and divisive world view and the role he would play in politics should the electorate ever be daft enough to elect him.

Unfortuntely for Coburn the electorate in the 2017 General Election were anything but daft and he had an exceptionally low share of the vote at 1.2% when he stood for the Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath constituency. Surprisingly it was this lack of success that buoyed him up and led to him announcing he would be running for leadership of the UKIP party (after Paul Nuttall’s failure to secure even a single seat in Parliament the current leader was naturally obliged to accept his defeat and stand down).

Coburn explains his leadership bid in his own words:

(Though the bookies clearly do not have much faith as he is currently a 20/1 outsider for the position.)

Coburn has also recently hit the news for having links to far right extremist hate group Scottish Dawn made up of members from the hate group National Action which was proscribed under the 2000 Terrorism Act. These links are currently being investigated by several different media outlets and, if proven, will likely scupper the leadership bid before it even begins. We will be watching this one closely.

AMD – Why Debate When You Can Block?

FacebooktwitterpinteresttumblrFacebooktwitterpinteresttumblr

Anne Marie Waters is the director of Sharia Watch, an anti Islam organisation with links to Pegida UK, Tommy Robinson and (after being rejected by Labour) UKIP.

We encountered Ms Waters on Twitter the other day and engaged in a brief debate with her.

We were discussing the news headlines in relation to child abuse and grooming gangs in the UK. This has been a great concern to many people and we explained that our group oppose paedophilia from any community or religion.

We have strong views on child safety and support tough penal sanctions when children are found to have been abused or harmed. But Anne Marie seemed less interested in the children than we were as she repeatedly insisted on making the discussion about her anti Islam views.

We explained that we do not support child marriage because it is both wrong and illegal but Anne Marie was only interested in using the discussion to justify her negative views toward Islam.

We had to repeat ourselves to her followers who also seemed keen to jump on the anti Islam bandwagon.

Anne Marie went on to try and justify her hate by claiming she knows more than we do. A rather juvenile debating tactic but to be honest by this point our hopes of a good quality debate were not high.

We explained our philosophy. The idea of integration between communities is very important to us and integral to our group belief that all people are equal. But the concept of division was just a buzz word as far a Anne Marie was concerned. She was much more interested in telling us about the “religious misogynist rapists” that she believes all Muslims to be.

At this point Anne Marie became angry when we pointed out the flaws in her logic and told her we believed her conclusions about Muslims to be erroneous.

She challenged us to prove that she blames all Muslims so we showed her this.

We had made our points succinctly and (I like to think) politely but at this point Anne Marie decided to resort to the good old argumentum ad hominem and start to insult us rather than debate the points we were making.

Our level of intelligence seemed her choice of theme for some time as she struggled impotently to bluster her way out of the hole she had dug for herself.

And then of course her followers got in on the act…

Eventually the penny started to drop that she was making a bit of a prat of herself

And yes, you guessed it…Blocked

So there you have it. Not the most eloquent display of intellect but then to be fair we weren’t really expecting it from a UKIP candidate. Bias, bigotry and balderdash seems a fair summary of her views…

2017 GE UKIP Candidate Posts Hate Tweets

FacebooktwitterpinteresttumblrFacebooktwitterpinteresttumblr

Caroline Santos was the UKIP candidate for the Scotland constituency Argyll and Bute. She plans to contest the Rutherglen/Hamilton West seat at the 2017 General Election.

We came across Caroline very recently when this tweet was brought to our attention by an anonymous third party with concerns that an individual representing a mainstream party should not be expressing such divisive and discriminatory views.

We looked deeper into her timeline and found a series of tweets containing Islamophobic content including:

Further research back on her Twitter time line shows that these are not isolated examples of her bigotry

It would also appear that Caroline’s issues do not end with Islam. She also likes to share her racist views on Twitter too.

We are surprised to see UKIP endorsing a candidate with such hate views, as the party have made several claims that they do not identify as an anti Islam party. Paul Nuttall, the UKIP leader, recently defined the party as “pro integration.” The views of Caroline Santos appear to promote anything but integration. It is hard to imagine any community wanting to integrate with a candidate who calls their religion a “cancer” and the individuals who practise the faith “savage barbaric bastards.”

We asked Caroline if she would like to offer a comment on her tweet. Initially she did not:

However – after she agreed to a call from a freelance journalist who writes for The Independent – she offered us the chance to call too

We did try to ring but the line was engaged. However we are more than willing to update our article if Ms Santos would like to offer any comments explaining how she believes her rabid Islamophobic views would be of benefit to either the UKIP party or the constituents she hopes to represent.

The issues raised here can only be explained in one of two ways. Either UKIP are intentionally recruiting Islamophobic bigots as candidates to represent them or Caroline Santos’ tweets are not indicative of the UKIP ethos in which case she is misrepresenting them and should be asked to stand down. We shall look forward to either an admission from Nuttall that UKIP actually is the racist, Islamophobic party we and other critics believe it to be or a resignation from Caroline Santos confirming her extremism is not compatible with the UKIP manifesto.
